Bronzers are used to amplify your tan and make it darker. Most bronzers contain DHA which helps you to look darker when coming out of the tanning bed/booth. There are also white bronzers which do not contain DHA, but still give you the same after-tanning effect of a normal bronzer.

Intensifiers are used to boost the production and penetration of melanin into the skin. Intensifiers increase blood flow to the skin, where melanin is produced, and enhances the absorption of the tanning agent into the skin. Intensifiers are great for building a tan, or even breaking a tanning plateu.

Tingle tanning lotions are designed to give the fastest tan possible by making the skin go red and tingle. They work by bringing blood to the skin surface and affecting the skin's melanin, which makes the skin darker. Tingle lotions are meant for experienced tanners and are not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
